VETTERTEC INAUGURATES NEW WORKSHOP IN INDIA
VetterTec continues to expand its presence in India: with the inauguration of a new 75,000 sq ft (approx. 7,000 m²) workshop facility in the industrial area of Chakan, Pune, VetterTec is taking the next step in strengthening its in-country presence and supporting growing market demand.
3 years ago, VetterTec underlined its long-term commitment to India by launching its subsidiary office in Pune and establishing VetterTec (India) Private Limited – bringing sales, service and engineering expertise even closer to our customers. The inauguration of the new workshop facility marks the next milestone in this journey: expanding local assembly and service capacities and reinforcing customer proximity in the region.
What the new workshop enables
The new site will be used for:
- assembly of steam tube bundle dryers
- a dedicated assembly zone for VetterTec screw presses
- support for Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), spare parts storage and repair services
The workshop is designed to enable multiple steam tube bundle dryer assemblies in parallel, with a separate, dedicated zone for screw press assembly. In addition, selected peripheral parts can be produced in-house to support the assembly process.

The inauguration event brought together the team, customers and partners to celebrate this milestone. After the official opening and short speeches, the program included a ceremonial ribbon cutting and a symbolic tree planting – followed by plenty of time for informal discussions over a shared meal.
